Ill. Ralph Shollenberger, Sr., 33° Personal Representative
Mr. Shollenberger was born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania on the 8th day of June in 1950 to Worshipful Brother Ruppert E. & Thelma G. Shollenberger.
Following college he was recruited into the United States Seabees where he served with both M.C.B. 40 and 71 from Davisville, Rhode Island. He spent time in Southeast Asia and was injured and was separated with a 100% disability.
In May of 1970 Ralph R. Shollenberger was wed to Theresa A. "Rocchino" Shollenberger. Ralph and Terry had two children Ralph, Jr. and Melissa. Theresa and Ralph have two grandchildren.
He was made a Mason in Friendship Lodge No. 53 F. & A.M. of Fellowship, Florida. He was Initiated an Entered Apprentice Mason on the 8th day of June in 1982; Passed to the degree of Fellowcraft on the 13th day of July in 1982 and Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason on the 17th day of August in 1982. He worked through the Chairs and served the Lodge as their Worshipful Master in 1987 and again in 1988. In May of 1989 R∴ W∴ Ralph R. Shollenberger, Sr. served M∴ W∴ Samuel M. Lewis as District Deputy Grand Master for the 14th Masonic District now the 15th Masonic District. R∴ W∴ Shollenberger served as Zone and State Chairman on the M-H 100 Committee; L.Y.P.M.G.S. Committee; Grand Master Charity Committee; Penal Affairs Committee; Masonic Education Committee; Masonic Renewal Committee and the Committee on Workshops for Lodge Officers.
He has served his Lodge as Secretary for 24 years and is currently still holding that position.
Brother Ralph joined the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Valley of Ocala, Orient of Florida on the 16h day of October in 1983. He was Invested with the rank of Knight Commander of the Court of Honor on the 16th day of October in 1989 and Coroneted with the Rank of Sovereign Grand Inspector General 33° Honorary on the 13th Day of November in 1997. He was Appointed as the General Secretary of the Valley of Ocala, Orient of Florida by Ill. Robert L. Goldsmith, 33°, Sovereign Grand Inspector General in Florida, in November of 2001 and left that position in December 2006. Was reappointed General Secretary of the Valley of Ocala, Orient of Florida by Ill. Dale I. Goehrig, 33°, Sovereign Grand Inspector General in Florida, on the 15th day of November of 2009.
